Luxury and VIP aircraft charter and jet hire case studies
The standards and services we offer aren’t pie in the sky.
Take a look below to see how we have met the needs of some of our past clients. We hope that by knowing what we’ve achieved for others will reassure you what we can deliver for you, too.
Setting a precedent for the President
A leading French industrialist was suddenly invited for an audience with the President of a former Soviet Republic to conclude lengthy negotiations for a major construction contract.
Together with his team of three, he had to be there by 11:00 (local time) the next day as the President was only available for one hour for the meeting. The dilemma? The nearest airport was 100-miles away and the earliest flight had an arrival time of 13:00.
We were called to remedy the situation – quickly and efficiently supplying a fast but economic small jet to operate from an airfield just outside Paris, landing in the Ukraine for 10:00 (local time).
The meeting proved highly successful and the aircraft returned to France in the early afternoon ensuring the team were back at their office before close of play.
Ensuring the highest service for a High Court barrister
A top London barrister (after attending a morning High Court hearing) had to be in Cherbourg, France by the afternoon to chair an evening meeting and dinner with EU senior lawyers and return to London’s High Court the following day for a 10:00 hearing.
We researched the availability of the fastest helicopter available from Battersea (the closest helipad to central London) with sufficient range to fly non-stop to Cherbourg in 55 minutes.
We arranged landing clearances in the grounds of the hotel/meeting venue and prepared the helicopter for a nightstop, leaving after breakfast at 09:00 (local time) the next day, arriving in Battersea by 08:55 (local time) ensuring our client fulfilled his commitments.
Bringing every aspect together
A multinational company needed to transport four senior executives from Houston and Shannon to Muscat.
No scheduled services were available that would let them fly together.
We arranged a charter flight that enabled pick-ups en-route, allowing them to fly together, hold a board meeting during the flight and prepare for their presentation.
This flexibility minimised the time wasted, not only travelling but at their destination.
Keeping VIPs up to speed with the British Grand Prix
A global tobacco company needed to transport 150 VIP guests from London to the Silverstone F1 Grand Prix over the weekend fixture.
We chartered a whole fleet of North Sea helicopters to achieve this exacting feat – moving them down to London and building an exclusive private terminal at White Waltham, a mere 20 minutes from the guests’ luxury hotel alongside the Thames, enabling us to fly them straight to the track at Silverstone.
Air Charter. An essential link
A large, renowned German Automotive Company had invested in a UK firm.
Its requirement? A daily shuttle for its senior staff to connect locations in Germany and UK not served by schedule services.
The answer? We provided an 80-seat commuter airliner based at an exclusive airfield in Germany, providing a private terminal with a 20-minute minimum check-in time.
The jet aircraft we sourced and supplied achieved timings equal or better than flight times of any comparable schedule service, thus enabling travel between the two remote factories by 80 executives in a single day – returning then home at night so avoiding hotel costs.
After its successful introduction, a long-term lease was established so our client did not have to invest in its own aircraft and crew, thereby avoiding a large financial commitment.
A record for a well-known pop group. And for us, too
Working on behalf of a major record label, a well-known pop group was undertaking a pre-xmas tour of major record stores and media venues across the UK.
The 30 passengers; band, management, press and crew needed to follow an itinerary that couldn’t be guaranteed with scheduled flights. Naturally, we pulled out all the stops.
The result? A world record of five cities in one day – achieved thanks to a highly efficient, functional turboprop, perfectly suited to small airfields away from congested airports. And, of course, us.
