Group aircraft charter and jet hire case studies
The standards and services we offer aren’t pie in the sky.
Take a look below to see how we have met the needs of some of our past clients. We hope that by knowing what we’ve achieved for others will reassure you what we can deliver for you, too.
Flying the five thousand. Or 4,700 to be exact
We were approached prior to the merger of two major computer companies.
A presentation to all senior staff (approx 4,700 people) was being organised in one location suited to the entire European region over two days.
We researched the airport location capable of handling 30 large-jet movements within 24-hours and matched a City venue with sufficient conference and hotel capacity.
Berlin was chosen from the three recommendations that we put forward.
We provided charter aircraft from every major European point, matching not only capacity – minimum 150 seats on every aircraft – but also the exact timings of the whole conference plan.
The result? The Management successfully briefed all senior executives simultaneously at a single venue with maximum company presentation techniques but minimum time lost away from their offices.
Going where others can’t. Or won’t
A specialist manufacturer of construction vehicles had chosen a mountainous location to showcase its new all-terrain digger to invited media & dealers.
No regular services were available in proximity to the venue so they needed an airport near enough to allow a day-return to be feasible (with minimal ground transfers), as well as being capable of handling minimum of 100-seater jet aircraft.
It was a pan-European operation involving transporting customers from a number of European cities to one location in Spain.
We researched the facilities of a suitable airfield nearby and undertook a research trip with our client to test ground handling and conduct a dry run to the venue.
We provided the best aircraft for the job, delivering: jet performance, short runway capability, integral steps (none available at the airport) plus a hot-galley on-board to permit hot breakfast on the outbound leg and dinner for the return.
A perfect example of our team work
A sports team got in touch with us prior to its 3-week summer tour.
They had a charter requirement from the UK to USA and China – undertaking a number of long haul flights over the course of the tour and needed an itinerary which couldn’t be delivered with scheduled flights, allowing them total control over the timing of their travel arrangements.
We sourced and supplied the most appropriate aircraft for whole entourage of 75 people (and all their gear) delivering: a private and bespoke environment, the reassurance of the same aircraft with dedicated seats throughout, plus the camaraderie and added ambiance of same crew.
A first for Air Charter. And the World
A major car manufacturer had the need for a charter requirement from France and Germany to St Petersburg for a brand launch.
Russia was uncharted territory for this type of travel and all the arrangements had to be set up from scratch.
It resulted in the biggest single ever movement for the first time by a non-Russian airline with 3 aircraft chartered to take people to the car manufacturer’s dealer conference, resulting in the huge success of its brand launch.
Maximising presence for a major player in Vegas
A world-renowned British company that makes construction equipment wanted to show dedication to its dealers by taking them to the Las Vegas Construction Show.
So, we were asked to charter a Boeing 767 to take 250 people from the UK to Las Vegas.
We branded the plane and gained parking for the plane outside the conference venue – maximising both the presence and stature of the company at the show.
Delivering peace of mind during a time of war
A Security company needed to feed personnel and deliver freight into the war zone in the Gulf.
Not surprisingly, confidentiality was paramount. The destination wasn’t served by scheduled services. Which meant it was perfect territory for Air Charter.
We established a regular shuttle to transport 200 people per week and deliver their freight.
Keeping VIPs up to speed with the British Grand Prix
A global tobacco company needed to transport 150 VIP guests from London to the Silverstone F1 Grand Prix over the weekend fixture.
We chartered a whole fleet of North Sea helicopters to achieve this exacting feat – moving them down to London and building an exclusive private terminal at White Waltham, a mere 20 minutes from the guests’ luxury hotel alongside the Thames, enabling us to fly them straight to the track at Silverstone.
